Rabbi Tavi Koslowe, Chief Academic Officer
Professional Experience
Rabbi Tavi Koslowe has been a teacher and educational leader for over twenty years in lower, middle, and high school settings. He is currently serving as High School Dean at the Leffell School in Westchester, NY. Prior to that, Tavi was the Judaic Studies Principal of The Idea School and a co-director of The Idea Institute. In that capacity, he created tens of unique Jewish PBL units and consulted for a wide range of Jewish schools and organizations on student centered learning. Tavi has also been an administrative coach for JNTP and held other school leadership positions at the Ramaz School in Manhattan, NY and Yeshivat Noam in Paramus, NJ. Tavi lives in New Jersey.

Educational Background
Rabbi Koslowe received his B.A. in Psychology from Yeshiva University, where he also received a Master’s Degree in Jewish Education and Administration (Azrieli), his Rabbinic Ordination (RIETS), and is currently completing his doctoral dissertation on Phonemic Awareness as a Predictor for Success in Hebrew Reading (Azrieli).
