Rabbi Yaakov Shafferman
Professional Experience
Rabbi Yaakov Shafferman has over 15 years of experience in teaching and educational leadership, having served in a variety of leadership positions across different schools and roles. Since 2017, he has been actively engaged in teacher training and instructional coaching for both teachers and school leaders. He has held positions as Principal of the Middle School of Basel, School Rabbi at the Noam School in Zurich, and Principal in Antwerp, Belgium. In addition, he organized the EU-Chinuch conventions in Europe in cooperation with Torah Umesorah and currently serves as Board Chair of the JBO schools in Amsterdam. He also works as a private consultant and instructional Coach. Rabbi Shafferman lives in Antwerp, Belgium, with his family.

Educational Background
Rabbi Shafferman is a Ner Leelef graduate and received smicha from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel and Rav Zalman Nechmya Goldberg zt”l. He is a trained school principal, holding a Swiss Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in School Principalship and Business Administration. He has also pursued further professional development in the areas of change management, strategic planning, and instructional innovation.
