Professional Experience
Mihal has dedicated 42 years to cutting-edge Jewish and Hebrew teaching in Seattle Jewish day schools. She emobies and models a growth mindset and infuses every class with highly interactive, inclusive, differentiated, and engaging teaching strategies. Student agency, voice, and choice are offered to students regularly. I She facilitates complex thinking, integrating spiritual, creative, and artistic components into her lessons. In addition to mastering content and skills, student well-being is at the core of her teaching style and strategies. She has trained in special education, Responsive Classroom, iTalAm, Ivriyon (JTS), Wired for Reading, Teacher Institute for the Arts (David Moss), Tal-Am, with the Center for Initiatives in Jewish Education, and Better Lesson. She lives in Seattle with her family.

Educational Background
Mihal has a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Temple University and a Bachelor's in Hebrew Literature from Gratz College. She completed a Special Education certification from Seattle University. She has trained in Responsive Classroom, Positive Behavior Support, M squared Institute for Experiential Learning, Hebrew at the Center, and the Legacy Heritage Teacher Institute for the Arts.
