Yoel Schwartz
Professional Experience
Dr. Yoel Schwartz serves as the Principal of General Studies at the Hebrew Academy of Cleveland, bringing extensive experience in Jewish education and school leadership. He is an alumnus of Ner Israel Rabbinical College and holds a Master’s degree from Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work, as well as a doctorate from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Throughout his career, Dr. Schwartz has held key educational roles, including Principal of General Studies at the Yeshiva of Greater Washington and Head of School at Yeshivat Rambam. He also founded and led Ashreinu, where he oversaw administration and curriculum design. A key focus of his work is the development of a Project Based Learning model adapted to the structure of Yeshiva education, with an emphasis on differentiated instruction that fosters a sense of belonging and success for all students.
